before i left for youth camp, i wanted to post something about the school council camp i had recently. actually it was quite long ago already lah. haha. but still.. that eve-of-youth-camp-night, i had a one and a half page long post on the 'create a post' page. then after i was done, i realised my internet connection was down. maybe it was cut off, but the page remained, it didnt disappear, to play safe, i wanted to copy and paste it somewhere. i tried, but failed. so i tried to put it as a short cut link on my desktop. i did! i was happy, but only for the moment. haha. the next day, it disappeared. :( so i cant be bothered to post it again. there goes! haha. but you know, since youth camp ended just a couple of hours ago, my memory is still fresh.
imitatio christi. cool. i had difficulty pronouncing it until maybe the jpm we had before that. haha. brilliant camp sialz. to add in ah lian talk, shoik camp worxxxzzzzz. haha. ok, coming back to imitatio christi's pronunciation, i thought it was difficult. then when i reached camp, my team's name was asyncritus, "incomparable" in greek. haha. but i learnt it on the first day. name? asyncritus! that was thomas's way of learning the name. i had a wonderful team. thomas was TL, n.pereira was ATL. then there was deborah, isaac, jeannette, joel, jessica, claire, joy(is the flag), drummer tai, ivan, jess and the ever funny SK. a change in camp was that we stayed at SAV! and we got the air-con bunk. haha. shiok man. catching tales was prob the best thing. then we imitated the show choices as our item presentation. the funniest part was isaac's funny face when he laughs! super funny lah! i nearly puked after the pizza dinner becuz of that. then omega night's worship lasted till 2 am. it was so awesome. cried my heart out to God. wonderful stuff. then spent about 1 or 2 hours jamming, played taboo with half-asleep people, abel, marcus, elliot, jess, sulwyn, vera, tai. i think i'm leaving some people's name out. sorry. i cant remember who else played cuz i was half awake too. haha. then it was talking with abel, marcus, tai, jess and vera in the playground when we decided to go to bethel and sleep. so we spent 4 hours sleep thing that morning. 6am till 10 am. haha. camp had to end somehow, thats the sad part. so we ended and broke camp at about 2 or 3 o'clock. i'm already beginning to feel sian without camp. haha.
that was only the overview of camp o.O haha. the relax parts and all. now, down to the more serious details, i began to see God's work. my 2 best friends abel and marcus were ALTs. marcus was the youngest ALT. surprising? nope. i dont think so. =) we were all growing together during the camp in His love for one another. it was during SK's sharing that struck me, something was telling me to be thankful for the things i already have in my life that i'm blessed with. even the
smallest and simplest stuff like parents, my hands to be able to play the guitar, a home, and many many other things. i got to know alot more people in camp as well. tai was like my buddy throughout the camp, i was with him most of the time. haha. i talked to my CG member, joel, and got to know him so much better. without the camp, i dont think i'll know him so much more even though we're in the same CG. haha. M.pereira's sis N.pereira was my ATL and she was the source of all the nonsense i get everyday. learning from the master of all rubbish ay. then there was worship. i'm happy i've learnt more about it even before youth camp, i think sam's sharing the week before was like a preparation for camp.i cant wait for the next one.
it'll be CATB in a week, then christmas, then its school already. gosh. sec three here i come. :)
