LITERATURE-arguably the best subject on earth. sadly orchid park sec doesnt offer. =( the times in secondary one when lit was a totally new subject is still fresh in mind. looking back at the fun times with ms kaur as lit teacher and when i studied really really hard for a subject not because i was forced to or because i had to, but becuase i simply enjoyed the subject. sec 2 students who are waiting for streaming at the end of the year and secondary one students reading this, please learn to love the sub. haha, so propaganda. anyway, when i was deciding on the class i wanted so badly to do lit but only 5 smart ppl in school wanted to.the really smart ones. hah. crap. the dream and the difficulties i faced in sec 2 lit-- drama play, 3 short confusing books, nothing like the sort in sec one were all wasted. the experience. i prayed about it, telling God that its his will and his right to decide what subs i do. he gave he the longing to do pure science since i didnt get lit. as i think back, i think i'm on the right track. except for some people who rub it in so badly with all the 'ah lian' talk and nonsense written all over the midsummer's cover. yes marcus, i'm talking about you. haha. pereira-ish nonsense. :) i'll make sure i make it to SAJC to do lit! haha. and rugby-hopefully. all God-willing. coming from the pereira-nonsense, i thank God for puting us together and seeing us throught the 5 years of so that we've known each other. i cant believe the coincidence- i dont think it is. through sunday school and the same PSLE score, we end up in the same CG and accountability group. really couldnt have done much and gone far without such a friend. i think our friendship really grew during the last holidays where we had youth camp, many many outings to town, and so many touch rugby games together. i can sense the maturity which i wanna learn, the willingness and enthusiasm to serve in church combined through electrolysis with nonsense that makes people happy to work with him. 5 years worth of a wonderful friendship, Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord!
